September 4We are hosting a paddle to Bath from the shop. Cost is $45 if you are renting a kayak and $25 if you have your own. We provide kayaks, PFD, paddle, guide and shuttle back to shop from Bath...unless you want to paddle back! Please call ahead to reserve a spot. Launch time will be 9 am. |
September 11 - Down East Century ride (100 miles)Cost is $20 which covers t-shirt and food. Call Inner Banks Outfitters for more info. Let us know if you are interested and we can email you a waiver form. |

September 24-26 - First annual Pungo Creek Paddle FestivalThis festival will be held at Pungo Creek Marina between Bath and Belhaven NC. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Love INC Down East. The festival will consist of the following activities: Friday night sunset paddle followed by a wine and cheese social, Saturday morning sunrise paddle, kayak fishing tournament and paddling obstacle course, a Saturday afternoon poker run followed by live entertainment by the river, and finally on Sunday morning a 10 mile endurance race. Camping is available on site, either individual tents or communal camping. IBXO has something for everyone who wants to get outside, get some exercise and have fun while doing it:
- Discover the local wildlife and scenic waterways in one of our “user-friendly” rental kayaks, either on your own or with one of our group tours.
- We also sell bikes, kayaks and accessories for the whole family.
- Already have a bike, but it needs repair? Bring it in! Our certified bike mechanic will be happy to fix it for you.
